Mom asked for pictures of Westi’s house for Mother’s Day and well, that is what she’s getting. I had something else up my sleeve but I spent too long tearing up the house looking for my passport in anticipation of making Costa Rica a reality (thank you Mom and Dad!), and I didn’t get it done. (Didn’t find my passport either.) But Westi sent pictures and saved the day. Their new house is very beautiful and oh-so-close to us. And, as Westi has mentioned more than once, she has a spare room for when you come to visit, Mom. Enjoy the pictures and have a wonderful Mother’s Day. Wish we were close enough to spend it with you.

Happy happy mother’s day to you Sharon! And Laura too! You have both played such important, vital roles in my life, and I’m grateful to have you both in it. Each day is richer, more creative, and full of love because of you. Thank you for being who you are and being in my life! I raise my coffee cup to both of you.
Happy Mother’s Day Laura and Mom. (Westi we are mom’s too but just to four legged animals) I hope everyone is having a sunny and beautiful day.
We are heading back home from WI right now and the sun is out and it is beautiful. After 3 day of straight rain in WI I am happy to see the sun. The guys did great on the run (31 miles in 6 hours) which was about the goal. The trails were pretty and not terrbily muddy but the hills were plentiful!
Yeah – Laura is looking for her passport! I should know something this week on Costa Rica Laura. I cannot hide from the test any longer and will be getting it done this week. P.S. I got my passport in one week!
Love you and Happy Mom’s Day!
Thanks everyone for the Mother’s Day wishes. Wehad nice lunch at Steve’s so I have had a good day. Wow! Wes and Mike, that is a beautiful
house. I love all the windows with the beautiful views. Of course, having the two of you in the photos is my favorite part always. Only thing better would be to see Steve and Laura too. Just hit me we haven’t seen any of you, except Laura, for almost a year! Time flies. love you all
What a beautiful home – I love the view out the living room windows. The kitchen looks like it is modern so you won’t have to spend a fortune remodeling (like all the other homeowners I know). I can’t wait until I can come and visit and see it in person. I’m so happy for you Westi!- Judy
Thanks Judy! The views out the windows were a real selling point, as was the completely updated kitchen (you should see the walk-in pantry!). I would love to have you over to visit any time. I have actually been rolling the idea of a big ole thanksgiving dinner at my house around in my head. If I could get my folks here perhaps you wouldn’t be far behind? =)
If you decide to host, I would try my best to get there – Yum!
