Ok, now I look bad … not only does my little brother have a Doctoral degree by my BABY sister has her Masters. And I’m (blissfully) taking undergrad classes at a community college. Sigh… now I feel old AND underachieving! Oh well, I’ll take my inspiration from you, Michele… I just picked my fall classes … more algebra, java programming and … (here’s the inspiration part) Spanish. Probably not this summer to Costa Rica but maybe someday we can travel and practice together, Michele. First, I have a lot of catching up to do.
So again, congratulations, Michele. I’m glad you finally figured out what the rest of us knew all along … you’ll be a profesor increíble!

ps. Dad should be able to download pictures at your house as long as he has the mini-usb cable along with him.

WHATEVER! And Thanks! Uh, how many years do you have in at your job (area) and actually in the field you studied in undergrad?
Cool about the Spanish class in the fall but I still think you should do it in Costa Rica. Just think how you would blow people away in your courses back in CA.
Pictures might have to wait until Dad gets back home. We don’t think he can download them here.
Send me info on the program and I’ll look into it, Michele. Not too likely, though, even if I drop my summer class here. Our road assessment just went up to 2 grand, thanks to our lovely neighbor’s lawsuit and the road damage from this year’s rains. And that’s just for starters…
EEEEEEK!
Google Costa Rica Language Academy. Then click on Programs (or Spanish Programs). It is a Al la carte menu type of program so you # of hours, number of days a week, etc…..
Congratulations Michele! There’s nothing that tastes sweeter than accomplishment. =) Muy bien!
Ooo, ooo, ooo … the Costa Rican Language Academy looks wonderful! Dang, now I want to do it! The prices are good too, although plane tickets (from San José to San José!) are a bit higher than I hoped. Maybe flying out of San Francisco they would be better. When do you think you’ll go, Michele? What kind of flight prices are you seeing?
I need to temper my enthusiasm with reality… I just scheduled the roofers to start on our new roof next week. Ouch to the pocketbook!
Happy grads day Aunt Michele! I hope you like the present your either going to get or have. Both Shelly and dad say hi. By the way, if your planning to teach 5th grade next year would you come over and teach my class?
