Obsession

After obsessing for days on my Photoshop final project, it is done. Well almost done. (Is anything ever really done?) I have to transition to my Illustrator final (not yet started) and math homework. Oh, and those other little things that crop up like work and roofers. Anyway, here it is. A room, based loosely on my own house, with some obvious poetic license taken to incorporate various projects from the semester (that teapot took me most of the drive to Oregon and back!) It’s all mine, right down to the individual redwood needles! And Ginger sleeping in the middle of it all. Of course, if this were truly accurate, she wouldn’t be on the floor … she’s more of a bed dog.

ps. Click on the image above to see a larger version. Not recommended for slow internet connections! Still, these jpeg images are tiny compared to the Photoshop file. At over 40 megs, it’s twice as big as my first hard drive of oh-so-many-years ago!

Westi saves the day! Mom’s Day, that is …

Mom asked for pictures of Westi’s house for Mother’s Day and well, that is what she’s getting. I had something else up my sleeve but I spent too long tearing up the house looking for my passport in anticipation of making Costa Rica a reality (thank you Mom and Dad!), and I didn’t get it done. (Didn’t find my passport either.) But Westi sent pictures and saved the day. Their new house is very beautiful and oh-so-close to us. And, as Westi has mentioned more than once, she has a spare room for when you come to visit, Mom. Enjoy the pictures and have a wonderful Mother’s Day. Wish we were close enough to spend it with you.
