Am I a bad sister for sending you pictures of MY favorite flower for your birthday? My lilac bush is blooming! I took this picture and then brought the clusters in the house. They are sitting right next to me and they smell soooo good! I wish you were here to enjoy them with me and I hope you have (had) a wonderful day!
Thanks! Nope because I love them too. Wish I was there for many reasons. One being that it is freezing here, literally. A blizzard is here and the winds are 40+ miles per hour. 80 degrees last week – Michigan weather.
My birthday was actually quite lousy. Too much to detail online. However, it was made up for tonight by the kids of City School’s 1st and 2nd grade classes. We had our E-I-E-I Oops! performance musical tonight and they ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was quite quiddy after the show and really wished I had not told Mom and Dad not to come. I was one heck of a proud teacher tonight and that was a great gift for my birthday, one day late!
I will post pictures as soon as our webmaster downloads them to our public website. I will send some to you so you can post them for me – I have forgotten how to do it.

Okay… now I know that I really AM losing it … first I planned for mom’s birthday a month early and now I am a date late on yours. I really did think your birthday was April 4! Jeez… can I blame it on my hormones? My thermostat is broken. If I was in MI with you in that nasty weather, I’d probably have all the doors and windows open. I don’t have hot flashes, I have full on heat waves. But you’re too young to know about that, baby sister!
