My last week of summer vacation. School responsibilities start back up next Monday. The girls and I spent our last completely free week of the summer…home. No backpacking, camping, or traveling. It is the girls 8th week of summer vacation and the first to actually be in Wyandotte. We had a nice week visiting friends, spending time with grandma and grandpa, riding bikes, going to the Y, reading books, going to the movies, playing in the park and Ceasarland and being couch potatoes. Just a relaxing week at home…what a concept.

No time this morning to do what you deserve, but I am thinking of you, and wishing you a happy, happy birthday! Dad … got pictures? Steve was awfully cute as a child. If you scan and send, I will post. (Update: thanks for the pictures, mom! Click on comments to see them all.)
