   Congratulations Michael! You must feel great based on what I have heard from my mom. So does this mean San Fransico is going to be called home?

   Congratulations my love! You’re amazing, awesome, and have quite a knack for acheiving your goals. (I’ll try and see if I can get Mike to actually post a response since it is about him, afterall). On Mike’s behalf, he is very excited but nervous. He has nearly a half dozen uniform fittings in the next two weeks (face masks, boots, uniforms, etc.). There is much to be done, and our lives are certainly going to change (at least for the next 18 weeks during fire academy). San Francisco is being discussed for around the turn of the year.

   Thanks for your kind words. This is a big change, and academy starts Monday, August 15th and runs for 18 weeks. We’ll be celebrating at Christmas time, but not because of Santa. (thank you Westi for helping me post this)
