Here are Mike’s and my little characters (finally). Yes, the pirate motif was all his idea. With Mike you will note that his Hawaiian shirt and face are covered in schmutz (he’s a spiller), and that he’s enjoying his sunglasses and a frosty beer. Apparently, a fire axe was unavailable and he substituted with something much more frightening. As for me, I’m sporting my princess crown and pearls, while enjoying some tunes on my new iPod shuffle. Mike chose the mouth because he says I’m always talking or singing, or at least making some type of noise (he says he gets nervous when I’m quiet). Laura noted that I should have added blond highlights into my hair for a more accurate representation. Or I could always just put on a pirate hat. 😉

I’m glad you like it. Right now my hair is a lot of colors: brownish red base with light blond highlights. You’ll get to see it in a few weeks at graduation! Also, Loren will be happy to know that we finally painted the concrete slab wall in our backyard as part of the preparation for my graduation party.
But we still have plenty for dad to get done at our house!
