Noche came home this morning. I had already planned to take the the day off because the vet was coming to check Ginger’s heart (she got a good report even though she still has some symptoms) so I was home. I’d love to report he is doing great. Right now though, he is panting in pain. He had a restful day but we took him out to do “business” before bed and, though the trip was successful, pooping caused him obvious pain. Even so, it is good to have the family together again. Pain meds have been administered and hopefully will take effect soon. Your prayers for his healing are most welcome.
Looks like he has a new cast too! Green and lost the pink. Glad to know he was home.
I hope by now he is much better. We have been
out and about since last Thursday and haven’t
had much time to check. Today I am resting!

Noche IS doing better today. No pain pills since this morning, and he got up and greeted me at the door when I got home tonight. This morning, Steve called me at work to report in that Noche had gotten up, hobbled to the trailer door and barked at somebody walking by this morning. And last night he actually managed to lift his leg to pee (albeit a little unsteadily). Our dog is coming back!
