Out of the blue, in yesterday’s mail, there was a card from my college roomie, Linda. She didn’t say anything about her life though her return address indicates she now lives near Boston (last known she was in Texas.) Her note said only, “I found these in an old album and I thought you’d like them. Hope you are well.”
Nicole at age 9, Laura at 25. Wow! Oh to be that young, thin, tan and blissfully ignorant of hard things to come. I don’t think I’d choose to go back even if it was possible but, in the midst of the challenges of middle age, I do feel nostalgic when I look at our young faces. At 25 I couldn’t imagine ever owning property, let alone fearing its loss because of a bad man and a lawsuit!

You are the same a Shelly! You all grow up too
soon! I like the grownup ones but miss the little
ones also. Wes and Laura, you need to read Jill’s
response on Barney also if you haven’t. I just
read it and had not seen it before. Just saw
the one on ‘dog stroller’. She loves her animals
also! love you all
Oh Laura, it does go so fast and I agree I wouldn’t trade my 60 year old self for the uncertainty of youth – still . . .
The comment about lawsuits and property in jeopardy – ? I just can’t believe that someone would menace your dear family – I don’t even know this guy and I’d like to punch his lights out.
