Happy Birthday, Daughter,
Good morning, Laura. I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful day on which to celebrate your birthday today. Hard to believe, back on 6 December 1960, that I would be writing this note to you on a computer in 46 years and that you would have brought me so much joy and love…and yes, a few headaches. Wish we were closer so we could take you out for dinner tonight or spend some time with you. I am thankful for computers and email but none of that fills the vacuum of being able to give you a hug. Anyway, hope your exam goes well and you have an enjoyable dinner. I love you. Dad

You sure dig up old photos! I know it is to avoid any current photos but we like to see
those too. Not sure what you said since we
don’t read Spanish! Hope you are having a good
day. By the way, your dad slept through your
birth after going out for breakfast! Enjoy that walk on the beach and I love you very much
and miss you more. Ditto to what dad said!

That plaid blanket has been with you since the
beginning. No wonder it is your security blanket. We need a current photo with you

I agree with Michele, but then you are still
very cute! You sure look little in that big crib but then you were only five and half lbs.
when we brought you home. Any less and we would have had to leave you there. Can’t believe we stayed in hosp for 7 days! We were
so pampered! Hope your birthday was great! love you

Happy Belated Birthday Laura! What sweet pictures and you must be so pleased for your Westi’s successes. Quite a remarkable young woman.
