Apparently, my love of standing in water and looking at rocks started early in life. Mom, are we THE lake, do you think?
I think ‘the lake’ is corect. My guess you are at Personet’s (spelling?) beach and that is his fishing boat. They were two houses from Gram’s. It is a treasure, but why your dad is in swimming suit and you are bundled up is a mystery! My guess it is when we lived at IU and before we went to CA. I can’t remember when Grandma got cottage back and started going there, only Beanie probably knows. If it isn’t there we are not sure where it is! love ya
I remember Personets (butI don’t know how to spell it either.) I think you meant the picture is a treasure (and it is) but I meant the rocks that Dad and I are looking at. I wish I had picture of everything about the lake… the cottage, the neighbors, the pontoon boat, us swimming out to the raft… I loved it all!
Who did Grandma get the cottage back from? Did she have it, then not have it, then have it back again?
