In honor of Father’s Day, I restored one of my favorite childhood photos. The original was tiny with a greenish cast, and had been cut up and pasted into a framed collage which was broken and damaged in the Loma Prieta quake. Westi was amazed, Dad, to realize that you and Mom were about the same age in this photo that she and Mike are now!
Happy Father’s Day, Dad! I love you!

Funny photo! You were maybe 3 I would say. That is first couch at seminary before you slept on new couch. At this time you slept in our room on little bed. New couch had covered area in back and pulled out to twin bed. I am sure I made those curtains so don’t make fun of them. I really can’t remember them! Love you
Thanks for that photo of my dad and me. I have never seen it before. Did you get it from Grandma? I have a whole book of photos she did for me and several are with daddy but not this one. Love ya
I wasn’t making fun of the curtains… but the paisley curtains AND Dad’s paisley shirt… well, they say 1960’s, don’t they?
I don’t know where I got the photos I used on the collage. I have a vague memory of going through boxes of old photos when I made it. Both sides of the family are represented, so it seems unlikely they came from just one grandma.
The bottom picture could be Steve!!!
I thought that!
