And indeed she was. On December 23, 1976 Steve got the most amazing birthday present of his life. Nicole was born! What a special day. A lot of birthdays have passed since then (29 to be specific) but the specialness of this shared day lives on.

Wow – Steve with a mustache! And I have never seen a baby that looks so much like the person does today. Those eyes, though closed, are definitely Nicole’s.

Damn that’s a cute picture! Before I even read Michele’s comments I said the same thing about Nicole’s eyes. And my Dad’s pretty cute too. Mike is an old man compared to the guy in the picture with the mustache. 22 and a half. Thanks, everyone for the kind wishes! Mother Nature has blessed us both with good weather for the occasion, too.
