Dottie co-existed with cats quite nicely today, be it lounging on the bed with Penny or romping in the woods with Grayson. She defended us from the fearsome horses when they were turned out (outside the corral they seemed a whole different beast than inside the corral.) She played stick tug with Noche. She mastered the dog door. And most importantly, she came running to me like a speeding bullet when I whistled for her, 99.5% of the time (the half percent was a bit of resistance when she was protecting us from the horses.) What a good girl!

“If I don’t look at it, maybe it will go away.” Penny Sue says … “If I stare at it, maybe it will go away.”

But Noche says “It’s fun and it brought toys … let’s keep it!”
