Seeing the pictures of Shelly and Jill that came in the mail this week really drive home how we need to get back to Michigan soon. My nieces are growing up and I am missing it! You’ll have to wait till September for the photo of Shelly but here is Jill; she’s the birthday girl today! Happy eleven years old, Jill …. write and tell us all about it!

Am I a bad sister for sending you pictures of MY favorite flower for your birthday? My lilac bush is blooming! I took this picture and then brought the clusters in the house. They are sitting right next to me and they smell soooo good! I wish you were here to enjoy them with me and I hope you have (had) a wonderful day!
