Murphy’s Law example:
One of my goals for the summer was to start exercising on a regular schedule. So after my class ended in June, I started running, biking and swimming. It was tough the first few weeks but around August it started to feel good. Yesterday, I even biked 17.5 miles and then ran 4 miles and I felt so energized afterwards. I have been wanting to run a triathlon for a long time and finally had the confidence that I should go for it. So I filled out an entry form last night for a race up at Stoney Creek Metro Park in September. I bought my racing suit… I was very excited… woke up late this morning because it was a rest day for training… and proceeded to walk into a book case and break my little toe. I am not sure when I will be able to run. Bummer!!!

The Family Garden
Well, the family garden has gone wild (not to mention the five foot marigolds). We finally had a day below 80 degrees to work outside and I barely made a dent. Anyone want zucchinis, cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, cataloupe, hot peppers, etc. because they are coming out of my ears? The girls were able to pick their first pumpkin. We should have a good crop for Halloween plus a nice variety of gourds.
