I always seem to have a few special moments while hiking, camping, vacationing, etc. that really impress me, inspire me and make all the planning and expense worthwhile. The girls and I came upon this overhang right as it started to rain. As we ate lunch and the sun started to come out the water trickling over the cliff was just beautiful. Jill eventually decided to even put on her bathing suit and take a shower. If only I could get her to take a shower at home.

The girls will just not stop growing. Jill turned nine last week and had a very fun Birthday party with friends from school. Water balloon fights, cherry spitting contest, slippin sliding and many, many cool presents helped to make her birthday very special.
