She didn&#8217;t say anything about her life though her return address indicates she now lives near Boston (last known she was in Texas.) Her note said only, &#8220;I found these in an old album and I thought you&#8217;d like them. Hope you are well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nicole at age 9, Laura at 25.  Wow! Oh to be that young, thin, tan and blissfully ignorant of hard things to come. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d choose to go back even if it was possible but, in the midst of the challenges of middle age, I do feel nostalgic when I look at our young faces.
