My five year old neighbor, Truxton, named them after a birthday trip to the pet store\u2014to get a frog\u2014went awry. Trux and Truxton (big and little) came home with bunnies instead. Love at first sight doesn&#8217;t always last and now they live with me. Or rather, with our chickens. Strangely, their new names came to me in a dream. Weird but true. At least it&#8217;s better dreaming bunny names than Road Association meetings. The next day I awoke in a foul mood from a nightmare in which a neighbor decided last minute not to have the meeting at his house and everybody piled into mine. Without asking. Steve couldn&#8217;t hack it and bailed. I was angry but no one would listen to me. The people running it (who don&#8217;t actually live here) were trying to include gates, flu shots, and charges for toasting our bagels all into a bundle of expenses that I was against.
